Email address (used for authentication and communication)
Password (stored securely via Supabase authentication — we never have access to your plain-text password)

Profile Information

Company name, trade, license number, registration number
Business address, phone number
Tax rate and tax label preferences
Payment details: bank name, account number/IBAN, routing number/SWIFT/BIC, PayPal email, Venmo handle, Zelle contact
Company logo (if uploaded)

Client Information

Client names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, and notes that you enter into the Service

Quote, Invoice, and Document Data

Job descriptions (typed or transcribed from voice recordings)
Generated quotes, estimates, and change orders
Invoices and invoice data (line items, amounts, client billing details)
Conversation history with the AI for revision purposes

Voice Recordings

Audio recordings are captured temporarily in your browser and sent to our server for transcription. Recordings are processed immediately and are not permanently stored on our servers.

To provide the Service, your data is processed by third-party providers for the following purposes:

Your data is stored in secure cloud databases with row-level security enabled, ensuring that each user can only access their own data.
All connections use HTTPS encryption in transit.
Passwords are securely hashed — we never store or have access to plain-text passwords.
Voice recordings are processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers.

5. Data Retention

Your account data, profile, clients, quotes, and invoices are retained as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, all associated data will be removed within 30 days.
Voice recordings are processed immediately and discarded — they are not stored long-term.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, if applicable):

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Data Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection — Object to certain types of data processing.
Restriction — Request that we limit how we process your data.

7. Cookies

PlanUpPro uses local storage and session storage in your browser to maintain your authentication session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics cookies.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence (including the United States) through our third-party providers. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place with our providers.
